Very impressed with our new chicken tractor. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. I added an automatic door to allow the 'girls' to get out and about in the morning and be securely locked in at night without us needing to be home. The tractor is set up in the paddock surrounded by an electric chicken fence. We have at least six foxes in the vicinity so hopefully the combination of the electric fence and the fox floor in the tractor keeps our girls safe. The only other change we may consider is retrofitting some larger wheels as our ground is a bit uneven and the small wheels do struggle a bit. Overall extremely happy with our purchase.

I do love that a cover is available but needs improvement inside the cover where the corners meet needs to be reinforced with say a rubber or plastic as to not tare or ripe the corners when putting on as well as plastic caps for coop corners so it doesn’t ripe the cover and anchor points on top of the coop to the down the cover so it does fly away in storms lol we use bricks not to attractive or safe

Great system. Beautifully packaged, with packaging frame nopw being used as a table.
Quite easy to assemble. I was in no rush, so I took 3 days. I changed the fox proof floor, using instead a whole sheet of appropriate 5mm mesh. I bought a cover which fits perfectly. One of the wheels missing part of the bearing. Aussie Chicken Coops posted a replacement immediately.
Our chooks are coming shortly; the mobile coop will be excellent for our place.

Totally love the weather shield. It keeps the chickens was and dry in chilly, wet Ballarat. I've just added some magnets on each corner to hold it down during windy days, while one side is up during the daylight.

Hi Toby & Adam. Our ChickenTractor Canvas Cover received here promptly. Fits well. Keeps rain off. We found this out when we discovered our free-range Guinea Fowls hiding inside during big rolling thunder-storms. Guineas keept perfectly dry.
